I work with adults of all ages, supporting individuals with a variety of life’s challenges. Some of these may include grief/bereavement, loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, anger/control struggles, self-esteem, life transitions, relational difficulties, chronic pain, life limiting illness, legacy planning and those considering MAiD (while supporting family members as well).   I offer compassionate, respectful and professional support. Therapy is a unique and deeply personal journey. I am here to help you honour your healing journey, as it appears for you.

Depression in the older adults can manifest as persistent sadness, loss of interest, fatigue, and sleep or appetite changes, but may also present with physical aches, memory problems, and social withdrawal. Risk factors include chronic illness, loneliness, financial worries, and medication side effects. Treatment often involves psychotherapy, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Older adults are often overlooked when it comes to depression (geriatric depression or late-life depression (LLD) - which is why I take this quite seriously, respectively. I travel to Long Term Care and Retirement Homes, either at the request of the individual client or sometimes by the family members who are concerned, holding therapeutic sessions in the comfort of the client's preferred space.  Consent is always required by my primary client and confidentiality and privacy maintained.

I also work with and support children and youth who are experiencing grief and/or bereavement, and/or are living with their own life limiting illness. I offer support and gentle guidance to help you (and your loved ones) navigate grief and bereavement in a way that feels right for you.

***I also offer a sliding scale, if needed, for those who do not have benefits.
